2019 Board members

Cristina Raggio

I have been a member of the Babylon Village Women’s Club for over fourteen years. The scholarship program and the idea of meeting women from outside my immediate circle of friends, were the reasons for joining and I was hooked from day one. Together with my spouse Andy, I am raising two teenagers and two rescue dogs here in Babylon.

I work as a nonprofit fundraiser and as a realtor for Century 21 Adams Real Estate on Main Street.

Leigh Ann Hubert

Vice President

I moved to Babylon Village in 2012 and absolutely fell in love with it. A few years and two little girls later, at the same time the BVWC was being revamped, I found myself taking a break from the fast paced life of Advertising and was interested in becoming more involved. The BVWC has given me the opportunity to both give back and connect with women in the community I may otherwise have never met. As VP, I love that my main focus is planning events to facilitate this! In my spare time you can find me at the beach, having dance parties with my kids or singing karaoke with friends.

Frances Beiro

Frances Beiro has lived with her husband in the Village of Babylon for 14 years. It was not easy to make personal connections in the Village with women who already had their groups cemented. She sought the BVWC in 2015, an organization which through its diverse membership, allowed her to become actively involved in this wonderful community. Today, Frances serves as Secretary of the Board of the BVWC, is an active Board Member of Casa Galicia of NY in Queens, & a Member of the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce. She has a full-time career, is a mom of 4, and the proud owner of NoaMar Markets, a marketplace & bistro specializing in products from Spain.

kim roseberry

founder & immediate past president

Kim is a lifetime Long Islander. She moved to Babylon Village in 1983, happily raised her family here, and has been a business owner of several businesses in the Village.

She has contributed to the community in many ways, including directing the annual musical at Babylon High School, founded the BVWC, and created the Post Office 5km Run amongst other things.

She is an entrepreneur, has a servant heart, and has inspired, coached, and taught people of all ages how to become the best version of themselves.

Angela Campagna

This is my first year as treasurer of the Women's Club, however this is nothing new for me. I have lived in Babylon now for 10 years with my husband.

I am currently a stay at home mom of one very fabulous little 6 year old man! I have been a CPA for over twenty years and enjoy bringing my finance skills to local nonprofits.

I enjoy being involved with other women in the area and meeting new people!

Melissa Muma

There's a graphic floating around social media. It reads: "I either have my hair and makeup done or I look like I haven't slept in days. There is no in between." This speaks to me on a spiritual level! Any woman that has balanced marriage, a career, and young children knows exactly what I'm talking about. I'm in that amazingly beautiful, challenging, expansive season of my life that so many of you are. And growing my family in our charming town has reaffirmed my belief that "it takes a village." I'm blessed to have found some of mine in the BVWC.

Call me a perpetual party planner.

Gathering women together to feed our souls is what I do best.

Architect. Mama bear. Goddess. Shoe fiend. Social Butterfly. Good Friend.

A bit flaky, mostly creative, always living vicariously through myself!
